All dogs & their families are a little bit different and require a specialized appraoch in order to gain the greatest results from a training program. This is why at BK9, we complete a full Temperament Assessment & tailor a program just for you & your dog. This allows you & your canine family member the tools to reach your own unique desires and goals.

 

Each Temperament Assessment consists of a 2 hour physical & behavioral exam, a questionaire, and results in an approximately 4 page written report on the findings as well as a game plan for addressing your desired outcomes. To best prepare to teach you & your dog what YOU want to learn, the Temperament Assessment will always be your first session. Rather than giving you pad-answers that don't truly address your particular situation, the Assessment allows us to cater your program to what YOU really want to accomplish or remedy with your dog's behavior.

 

Multiple-dog households may create various dynamics that hinder or help in your dog's progress. We assess ALL elements of your dog's situation so that you will have the greatest & most long lasting effects. In some situations it will be necessary to do full Assessments on each dog in the household. However, if you are wanting to address a specific problem with only 1 of your dogs, it is usually possible to assess the other dogs just as we would any other family member, getting a good understanding of the dynamics caused by them but not performing a full exam and therefore there is no additional charge. In cases where this is not possible or you specifically want a full written assessment on each of your dogs, all additional dogs are 1/2 price.
